Non indigenes in Nnewi North LGA and environs have applauded the Anambra State governor, Prof Charles Soludo over his security initiatives and landmark infrastructural development of the State.
The Special Adviser to Nnewi North Mayor on Non Indigenes Affairs, Chief Chinedu Igwe made the commendation in a chat with journalists.

Chief Chinedu Igwe who is also the President of Imo General Assembly(IGA) in Nnewi noted that Gov Soludo’s overwhelming victory in the last Anambra State governorship is a reflection of his acceptance by the people of Anambra based on his five star performance.

He said that number one great achievement for Gov Soludo is improved security across the State, which according to him enabled people to return home enmass during the yuletide and new year celebrations.
Chief Igwe pointed out that all other achievements recorded by the administration of the day, hing on conducive environment for people to do their businesses occasioned by improved security.
Chief Igwe who is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Suzuki Don Int’l while congratulating Gov Soludo on his reelection victory said that the Anambra State number one man has created a record that cannot be equalled in the nearest future.
“Gov Soludo has undoubtedly positively impacted the people of the State in all ramifications, he has resurrected the sectors abandoned by his predecessors and made them viable.
“The youths of the state are so dear to Gov Soludo’s heart, to ensure that they are not left behind by his administration, he came up with 1 youth 2 skills program, over ten thousand youths have been trained and empowered financially in his first tenure.
“Teachers are employed for primary and post primary schools, the State owned higher institutions have enjoyed the midas touch of Gov Soludo, I will not fail to let you know that there is free education in government owned schools from primary 1 to SSS 3.
“The pregnant women are enjoying free antenatal and post natal treatment under the administration of the day, all these human capital investments are in addition to physical infrastructural development of Anambra State.” Chief Igwe pointed out.
Chief Igwe also commended Gov Soludo for embarking on construction work on Adili Road in Nnewi, a road which he said is very important to traders in Nnewi market as well as dualization of the road from Nnewi to Okija in Ihiala LGA of the State.
The Chairman and CEO of Suzuki Don Int’l noted that Gov Soludo achieved 21/21 in the last governorship because of his acceptance by non indigenes in Nnewi after the demise of Sen Ifeanyi Ubah.
He specially applauded Gov Soludo for not leaving the non indigenes behind in the scheme of things in his administration noting that the non indigenes are not discriminated against in Anambra State as done in some other states.
Chief Igwe also commended the Mayor of Nnewi North LGA, Hon Echezona Anazodo for uniting non indigenes in the council area and bring them together under one umbrella.
He said that Nnewi North Mayor has also been carrying the non indigenes along in the scheme of things which he noted has increased the sense of belonging of the non indigenes.
Chief Igwe, a reputable commentator on national issues said there is need to commend an administration if such government is doing well and criticize any administration that is falling short of people’s expectations.
“I can say with all sense of responsibility that Gov Soludo is doing great in Anambra State, I appeal to other governors all over the federation especially South East governors to emulate the former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).” He concluded.
