Gov Soludo’s aide celebrates birthday in style, visits motherless babies home, sponsors table tennis tournament


The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Gov Charles Soludo on Political Matters, Dr (Engr) Ezekiel Nwokoye celebrated his birthday in style.

In commemoration of the day, the SSA to Gov Soludo on Political Matters sponsored a tournament at Xfit table tennis club, Awka.

The Chairman of the club Hon Sony Ozobia who was a member of Anambra State House of Assembly said that the Engr Nwokoye sponsored tournament brought direction and renewed energy to the club.

Hon Ozobia noted that the gesture would propel Xfit tennis club to an enviable height under his watch.

In his own comment, Dr (Engr) Nwokoye said that the passion and dexterity displayed during the competition was amazing.

He expressed his determination to encourage the hidden talents discovered during the tournament by sponsoring to compete in bigger meets.

Hon Nwokoye applauded all individuals and personalities who contributed in no small to the success of the tournament.

He pointed out that different financial awards was set aside for each category.

For the Cadet Category, Arch Iyke Okereke(Video Man) emerged victorious while Madam Ebere Obiefuna emerged runners up..

In the Junior Category, Lady Ebele won the tournament and Ichie Otabili, the third position went to Opay and Lambart.

In.the Senior Category, Chimuanya Uwa won while Easy Tappaa while the third was jointly occupied by Bright (Papailo) and Tunde.

The celebrant at the end of proceedings treated club members and guests to sumptuous entertainment.

He also paid a special visit to a motherless babies home as part of his celebration noting that the it is very important to remember the inmates as well as encourage their handlers.
