Gov Soludo’s performance excites group

Encomiums were yesterday showered on the Anambra State governor, Prof Charles Soludo over his outstanding performance in office.

It was praise galore for the Anambra State number one man at the expanded meeting of Soludo Solution Movement(SSM) which took place in Awka.

The Convener of SSM, Chief Jude Umunnakwe in his opening remarks commended the commitment of the members to the administration of the day.

He noted that the commitment is not misplaced as the governor in just one year in office has performed better than his predecessors.

Chief Umunnakwe said as a matter of fact that it is a thing of joy to be associated with the emergence of a performing governor even as he charged his members to continue to showcase the land breaking projects being executed by the administration of the day.

The chairman of all support groups for Gov Soludo, Hon Chinedu Nwoye who is also the Chief Protocol Officer and Deputy Chief of Staff to the governor commended members and officials of SSM for their resoluteness, commitment and support for the administration of the day.

He appealed to the support groups to always visit project sites in the state as well as talk about good things going on in Anambra State under the watch of the incumbent governor.

“The governor has employed 5000 teachers to boost the education sector, he has worked on roads which have been abandoned for ages by successive administrations and it in the process reconnect the hitherto abandoned communities, there is hardly any part of the state that he has not flagged off roads for construction. A flyover is being constructed from Nanka to Uga, that is a massive project that should excite everyone.” Chief Nwoye said.

The chairman Board of Trustees (BoT) of SSM, Hon Dr Okechukwu Obi who also commended the five star performance of Gov Soludo in office stressed the need for the group to be having regular meetings so to smoothen rough edges.

The Transition Committee (TC) Chairman of Ogbaru Local Goverment Area of Anambra State, Hon Pascal Aniegbunam was elected the National Coordinator for SSM at the meeting.

The newly elected National Coordinator who appreciated the members of SSM for the confidence reposed in him pleadged to strive towards taking the group to the next level.

The meeting was graced by national officers, state and local government area executives.
