The equalizing mode of infection by coronavirus has happened again. The Governor of Abia state, Chief Okezie Ikpeazu tested positive for the coronavirus.
The State Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu announced the development.
The Governor has since gone into isolation as was the medical protocol for those who tested positive for the coronavirus.
The governor transferred power of the office of the Governor to his Deputy, Rt Hon Ude Oko Chukwu, pending his expected recovery.
