The Governor of Anambra state, Professor Charles C. Soludo, has approved the appointment of Engr Chris Obiorah as the new Transition Chairman for Nnewi North Local Government Area.
The Governor’s appointment is with immediate effect.
Engr Chris Obiorah is a consummate professional who has made quite a significant impact in the construction business of all styles of edifices across and breath of Nigeria.
Obiorah is famously known by his business name, Christez. Hence, many people who know him will not be able to associate him with the present announcement.
He is a straightforward man and a devoted Christian. He does have a famous cousin, Senator Ikechukwu Obiorah. Engr Obiorah too, is from Ebenator Uruagu Nnewi.
Since his name became public, people, especially the Nnewi Professionals, have been excited that the government has put a square peg in a square hole. They hope that the governor and his team will equip him
with the necessary tools to work.
An anonymous member of Anambra professionals swore to Vision Newspapers that “Engr Chris Obiorah I know is not corrupt, and he is incorruptible. Wait until you see with your own eyes,” he said.
