The leadership of the Association of Non-Indigenes in Anambra State (ANISA/ANIAS) has appealed to the candidates of other political parties to join hands with Gov Charles Soludo to move the State forward.
The President/Leader of the group, Chief Amb. Great Ugwuoke made this appeal in a press statement made available to journalists in Awka.
Chief Amb Ugwuoke said it would be in the best interest of Ndi-Anambra and residents alike if all the candidates of other political parties in guber race accept the election results in good faith and join forces with Prof Soludo in his transformational leadership.
The association of the non indigenes congratulated Gov Charles Soludo over his landslide election victory which cut across the twenty one LGAs of the State.
The President and Leader of ANISA and ANIAS pointed out that the large turn out of voters across the State is a clear testament that security situation has improved tremendously in Anambra State.
“The leadership of Non indigenes after the endorsement of Prof Charles Soludo on 7th October, 2025 mobilized all her members all over the State and directed them to vote massively for All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the governorship election.
“We did that because we believe in the leadership style of Gov Charles Soludo as well as his campaign promises, which we are positive about that when implemented would turn the fortunes around for the better for Ndi-Anambra and residents alike,” Chief Amb Ugwuoke said.
The group also applauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) security agencies and media practitioners for carrying out their respective constitutional responsibilities effectively during the November 8 governorship election.
The leadership of ANISA and ANIAS while commending the members of the association for being good citizens urged them to continue to be law abiding.
