Guber: You must pay for your brutal insults on intelligence of Ndi-Anambra, DG Ikukuoma/Iyom Campaign Council tells Prof Soludo

From Ifeoma Ejiofor

The Director General(DG) Ikukuoma/Iyom Campaign Council, Chief Dozie Ikedife(Jr) has described as shameful that Gov Charles Soludo gathered Anambra youths and was empowering them with Three hundred thousand Naira each.

Chief Ikedife (Ikenga Nnewi) who was speaking with journalists at the Campaign Council Secretariat in Awka expressed dismay what Soludo actually wanted the youths to do with the insignificant Three hundred thousand Naira.

The Campaign DG for the All Progressives Congress (APC) standard bearer in the November 8, Anambra State governorship election, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and his running mate, Sen. Iyom Ekwunife pointed out that the development is embarrassing if one considers the huge of money the trainees invested in the program which was extended from three months to more than one year.

“It is indeed a show of shame that Prof. Soludo, a Professor of Economics to gather over 8000 energetic and promising Anambra youths for three hundred thousand Naira (#300,000) each as an empowerment. This must not go unpunished.

“These innocent young persons had spent over one year in phantom 1 youth 2 skills program spending money on transportation to go to their training centers, is the three hundred thousand Naira for their transportation during training or to get shop?” Chief Ikedife quipped.

“It’s unfortunate that the professor proudly called media houses to make headlines for the shameful gathering of Anambra graduates for #300,000 as a business startup money for their lives.

“Soludo has intentionally continued to heap insults on the intelligence of Ndi Anambra by calling his vote buying jamboree as youth empowerment. He is behaving with impunity as if Ndi Anambra lack intelligence, logical reasoning and political inference while taking his actions.

“Prof. Soludo should had appointed the innocent youths as political appointees to shows some level of sincerity as vote buying mechanism and certainly not empowerment. Did Gov. Soludo really thinks that Ndi Anambra are fools? It is absolutely irritating and time has come to question Prof. Soludo’s mindset about Ndi Anambra.

“As a world class economist which Prof. Soludo claims to be, what is #300,000 as an empowerment for a graduate to start up a business? Prof. Soludo should present to Ndi Anambra the policy document that convinced him that such amount can start a business in Anambra State.

He is seeing Anambra as a state where only Prof. Soludo is educated.

“Ndi Anambra, a professor of economics that cannot develop a workable and sustainable empowerment programme has failed and should not be considered for reelection. He lacks the capacity of an Executive Officer where you have to initiate, design and implement programmes.

“Prof. Soludo is only good at taking instructions, implementing formulae and already established programmes. He lacks the ideas, initiatives and creativity to moving a progressive state like Anambra forward. Therefore, it will be a brutal mistake to vote Prof. Soludo for second tenure.

“This is a clarion call for all Anambra elites; the professors, P.hD holders and other well meaning Ndi Anambra to join hands with Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu and Sen. Uche Ekwunife in building a better Anambra where empowerment is meant to create jobs, wealth and future for our youths. This is not time to keep silent.

“The clarion call is not about Prince Ukachukwu or APC, but a mission to rescue Anambra from tyrant and a clueless professor. It is for the good of all of us and the future of our children.” He asserted.

Ikenga Nnewi said as a matter of fact that Prof. Soludo has broken it and that Prince Ukachukwu has seen where it is broken and he is ready and eager to clear the mess of a clueless professor by fixing it.
