Holy Land Adoration and Pilgrimage Centre Okija celebrates 3 years anniversary

It was celebration and a time of spiritual revival as the members of Mary and Jesus International Holy Land of Divine Mercy and Mother of Perpetual Help Adoration and Pilgrimage Centre, Okija, Anambra State celebrated their three years anniversary.

The occasion was in commemoration of the visit of Jesus Christ and his mother, blessed virgin Mary to the Ikeh family compound on 15th and 16th January, 2021 respectively.

In his sermon at the occasion, Rev Fr Vitalis Izuchukwu who took the Bible reading from 1 Samuel 9:1-14 admonished the congregants to have faith in God.

Fr Izuchukwu recalled that the woman with the issue of blood in the Bible touched Jesus Christ with her faith when there were many people pressing the Lord.

He said that God is aware of everything everyone is passing through and that the ability to breakthrough is dependent on the faith of individual person.

In his welcome address, the Spiritual Director and President of Holy Land Adoration and Pilgrimage Centre, Okija, Bro Ikeh Alphonsus U.(Shamo of Mary and Jesus) recalled the historic and spiritual event that gave birth to the adoration land.

He said that God has been meeting the people at their point of needs in astonishing miraculous ways at the center since 2021.

“God has proved his greatness, grace, mercy and love towards his presence and manifestation of God the Son, Blessed Mother Mary, Holy Angels and Saints at Holy Land Okija.

“This is via the establishment of heavenly scheme of miraculous Holy Water at the same arena which has helped many people get solutions to their problems, needs, freedom from evil plots/plans, bullets and guns, weapons, missiles and bondage.”

Shamo of Mary and Jesus while appreciating the individuals who have been supportive of the adoration land urged brethren to donate generously to the ministry so as to meet international standard.

The highlights of the occasion included Holy Mass, new year candle light, testimonies amidst songs, drama and dance.
