Hon Amobi declares interest in Senatorial election

Councilorship candidate of Young Progressive Party(YPP) in just concluded Local Government polls, Hon Onyemaobi Okonkwo(Anunebe) has declared his intention to join the contest for the forthcoming Anambra South Senatorial District Election, following the demise of their beloved Senator, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.

Okonkwo made his intention known in Nnewi saying ” My interest to join the Senatorial race is as late Ubah’s Senior Special Assistant, I had the privilege of working closely with him, and I am committed to strengthening his remarkable legacy and consolidating his mandate”.

He revealed that he was well aware of the enormous responsibilities that come with the position, and assured them that he would dedicate himself to the service of their great senatorial district.

He further disclosed that he had had the privilege of learning from Senator Ubah’s exemplary leadership nature, and would be committed to build upon his achievements.

“My vision is to ensure that our district continues to thrive and prosper, and that the welfare of our people remains paramount.

“As your representative, I pledge to work tirelessly to attract development projects, empower our youth, and support our women and vulnerable populations. I will also ensure that our district’s voice is heard loud and clear in the Senate, and that our interests are protected and promoted” he added

Okonkwo restated his commitment to transparency, accountability, open communication,and urged the people of Anambra South to join him in this journey.

“Together, let us honor the memory of Senator Ubah by continuing his good work and consolidating his mandate.
I am confident that with your support, we can achieve great things and take our senatorial district to even greater heights. Thank you for considering my declaration, and I look forward to your support and partnership in this noble endeavor”he said
