Hon Sir Pat Ubajaka sends a happy new year message of resilience to the people of Anambra State

The former Council Chairman for Nnewi North LGA has called on the people of Anambra State to remain steadfast with hope to God and dogged in pursuit of the well-being of their families.

Hon Ubajaka recognizes the daunting economic conditions that the people of his constituency go through on a daily basis, where most families can not afford a three square meals. “The transport fare has shot across the roof thereby forcing families to make hard choices that challenge the stability of many families, ” Sir Ubajaka said.

“It is critical for the people to be forward looking eventhough many have reached the limit of their resistance. But as Igbo people, and particularly Anambrarians, we must not jettision ‘our can do spirit'” he continued.

Hon Ubajaka called on the people in government whether appointed or elected to come together and pull resources to genuinely tackle the basic needs of people from their various constituencies.

“I want to be creative about addressing the issues of palliative if I were to be elected to complete the tenure of Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah”. Those in government should not politicize the welfare of our people at this critical time in Nigeria.”

“Every body should be working with the governor, of the state, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, to form a formidable guard to protect our people from falling into worse economic conditions,” Ubajaka pleaded. The shameless shows of individuals in government sharing token noodles and 5 kgs of rice is humiliating and goes against everything we stand for as Anambra people”.

A lot of people in government has forgotten that they are there to serve, but are only concerned about what next benefit they will get for themselves.

“It is indeed one of the bane of failures in our various constituencies. I hope that our people should begin to critically examine the characters of those they chose to represent them, going forward, ” Hon Ubajaka admonished.
