He felt the Eastern rail line proposed by the President during his working visit to Enugu will go a long way to easing the difficulty of doing business in the Southeast, and particularly, in our Senatoroal zone.
“Many of the aspirants are merely gallivanting with out appreciating the serious work needed to assist the critical sectors of commerce and industry,” he said.
“My interactions with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture revealed that business owners in the sectors are still burdened with multiple obstacles in the course of conducting their businesses,” Ubajaka said. Bringing their goods from the ports had become an onerous tasks that contribute to the high costs of goods which are passed on to the final consumers, he continued.
“They had to deal with so many Customs check points on the road causing delays and extra costs to the owners to be able to continue with their containers. I will liaise with the senators from the Southeast and South South to enact legistration to curb this nuisance.”
“Our consistency can not continue bearing the unfortunate extra burden. I must collaborate with other constituents to address the issue of multiple taxations and burden from corruptions.”
“I am ready to undertake these tasks and make them the cause of my life in addition to welfare of my constituency,” Hon Ubajaka pledged.
