HRH Igwe KON Orizu III is 100 years old, and 62 years on the throne

HRH Igwe Dr KON Orizu III CON, is 100 years old and has been on the royal throne for 62 years. He is particularly blessed in all ramifications.

As part of the series of events to mark this special milestone, HRH Igwe Nnewi, has awarded chieftancy titles to his Cabinet members. There are some Cabinet members who are already title holders of Nnewi.

Among some of the Cabinet members who received titles from Igwe Nnewi are Chief Afam Osuigwe SAN, Chief Emeka Etiaba SAN, Chief F Chijioke Okoli SAN, Chief Chuka Ikwuazom SAN, and Chief Lotanna Okoli SAN.

Others were Chief PE Nwosu, Chief Patrick Ubajaka, Chief Robert Anwatu, Chief Benchuks Nwosu, Chief Obi Nwosu, Chief Moses Ezukwo, Chief Godfrey Aneto, Chief Cyprain Onyemamuo, Chief Okey Chidolue, Chief Innocent Okoli, Chief Emeka Ayabazu, etc.

It was a special ceremony that saw Igwe Nnewi recognize and appreciated those that have worked closely with the palace.

The Crown Prince, Dr Obi Orizu, who piloted the ceremony urged the new inductees to continue the work they have been doing. “You are now title men of Nnewi, and the chairman of Nnewi Body of Title Chiefs is Chief Chukwuemeka Nzewi. Please, ensure you are enrolled,” the Crown Prince urged them.

The Obi Uruagu, Obi Afam Obi, Obi Umudim, Obi Bennett Okafor, and Obi Nnewichi, Obi George Onyekaba were enthusiastic participants as they congratulated the new titled men.
