The funeral activities of HRH Lolo Catherine Nwazunafia Orizu (Ifediezenma), the wife of HRH Igwe K.O.N Orizu III and mother of the Crown Prince, Dr Obi Orizu begins this week.
Officially, the funeral ceremony will begin with a service of songs on October 23rd 2024. On October 24th, 2024, a burial service will be held for her on the palace ground.
Condolences begin immediately after the burial service and shall run through October 26th, 2024. On Sunday, October 27th, 2024, family and friends will partake in Thanksgiving service at St Thamos Anglican Church, Otolo Nnewi.
The members of the planning committee have assured all the visiting dignitaries a seamless visit despite the great numbers of visitors expected at the funeral.
