From Ifeoma Ejiofor

The Anambra State Director of National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr. Edozie Ajaegbu on Tuesday said that no meaningful development can take place in an environment devoid of peace.

Mr Ajaegbu stated this during an interactive session with journalists in Awka.

The NOA boss, who noted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not oblivion of the economic hardship in the country, cited the president’s uncommon efforts in signing the national minimum wage bill into law.

He said as a matter of fact that Tinubu is making efforts to ameliorate the suffering of the teeming populace.

Mr Ajaegbu said that the presidential order to the leadership of NNPC to sort out crude oil immediately to Dangote at Naira rate whom he said was having difficulties in accessing foreign exchange to bring his refinery to full operation is another glaring determination of the present government to reviving the nation’s economy.

He maintained that protest by the citizens of the country is enshrined in the nation’s 1999 constitution as amended under normal circumstances and appealed to the organizers of the protest to rethink as it not necessary now.

Ajaegbu recalled that the government of day is just one year in office noting that no meaningful progress could be attained in a chaotic evenronment anywhere in the world.

He added that the leadership of President Ahemd Bola Tinubu is making frantic efforts to better the people’s standard of living even as advised Nigerians to learn to appreciate government efforts.
