Igwe Nnewi dissolves cabinet

His Royal Highness, Igwe Dr KON Orizu 111, the paramount traditional ruler of Nnewi in Nnewi North LGA of Anambra State has dissolved his cabinet.
Igwe Orizu’s notice of dissolution of his cabinet was dated Sunday 22nd February, 2026 and signed by the Principal Secretary to the highly revered monarch, Prince Dr Obi Orizu
The notice reads, “In a significant development, His Royal Highness, Igwe Dr KON Orizu 111, Igwe Nnewi had in the meeting held on Sunday 22nd February, 2026 in his Cabinet Chamber dissolved his Royal Cabinet.
“Making a crucial step as the town prepares for the upcoming transition from Igwe Nnewi Royal Cabinet to Nnewi Royal Cabinet.
“The dissolution of the cabinet as intended is a strategic move by His Royal Highness to pave the way for a new administration and the potential changes in the membership of the cabinet.
“His Royal Highness expressed his gratitude for all love and dedication shown by the outgoing members and leadership of Igwe Nnewi cabinet.”
The hundred year old monarch wished them God’s guidance in their future engagements towards a better Nnewi.
