The traditional supreme ruler of Nnewi community in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State and the current longest serving Monarch alive, Igwe Kenneth Onyeneke Orizu III,Dame Virgy Etiaba, Chief Dr Innocent Chukwuma, CEO Innoson Group of Companies,Chief George Moghalu,Labour Party candidate for the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Anambra State, Chief Izuchukwu Onwugbenu, CEO Louis Carter Group,Sir Dr Emeka Offor, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and host of other dignitaries stormed Otolo Nnewi in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State to extend their condolences to Nsoedo’s family over the demise of their mother, Lady Angelina Oliaku Nsoedo.
There was a Pontifical vigil mass led by Bishop of Nnewi, Most Rev Jonas Benson and a host of priests.

The requiem mass at Nsoedo’s compound on April 25,2025 had in attendance Catholic Priests, top Government officials, friends and well-wishers.
Commiserating with the family over the loss, Hon.Engr. Prince Chukwudi Orizu on behalf of Igwe Nnewi Palace offered their heartfelt condolences on the passing of their remarkable mother at the age of 94 years,who has left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone she touched.
He said Lady Angelina through her leadership quality, kind heartedness and her generosity had inspired countless individuals, adding that her legacy would continue to be felt deeply.
Shortly after that, Dame Virgy Etiaba CON, FELUN said the deceased lived a virtuous life.
While praying that God Almighty grant her a peaceful rest, Etiaba implored family members to emulate exemplary life she lived.
Sir Emeka Offor said late Lady Angelina Oliaku Nsoedo life embodied grace, resilience and unwavering devotion to others.
Others who spoke, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, Hon. Echezona Anazodo, Executive Chairman Nnewi North, Sir Izuchukwu Onwugbenu, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Chief George Moghalu, Prince Samben Nwosu and others prayed that God would give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The management and staff of NAUTH under the CMD, Prof Ugboaja, were in full force to commiserate with Ezeakukwu and siblings.
Equally, members of COF led by Professor Ezechukwu paid condolences and expressed their sadness, though gladden by Lady Nsoedo’s long life on earth.
The OMGS Class of 1975-1980 were in attendance with a strong delegation. Dr Nsoedo is the incumbent President of the Class.
Hon. Ezeakukwu Emmanuel Nsoedo (Ph.D) on behalf of Nsoedo’s family thanked God Almighty for making the day a reality.
He appreciated friends, church, relations, and well-wishers who honoured their invitation and prayed that God would richly bless them. He particularly drew attention to the immense support the family received from the Oranuba family and Mr Joachin Okonkwo (UBI) and his wife, both morally and otherwise.
