By Ezeakukwu Emmanuel Nsoedo

A unique guest house with a compact bar lounge exquisitely furnished to attract an upper middle class patrons is test-running its facilities for effective take-off for proper business activities.

On the wall of the lounge hung pictures of well-known heroes such as the late Ikemba Nnewi, Chief Emeka Ojukwu; the late Owelle of Onitsha, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe; Chinua Achebe, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr, and Julius Nyere.

On another side, there were icons such as Chief Osita Osadebe, Chief Oliver De Coque, and Onyeka Onwenu.

The ambience of the lounge invites one to lose himself or herself of the stresses of the external environment. There is a Pool table for those who wish to play while being entertained.

A couple of friends took advantage of the informal activities within the premises to experience the taste of their barbecued fish which was prepared right beside the bar lounge to the satisfaction of the friends.

Sheila Obi, the consultant welcomed the guests and assured them the full business activities would commence in not more than two weeks.

Meanwhile, she took Vision Newspapers around the rooms adorned with high-quality linens and bathroom sets. As one ascends the stairs, the person experiences the same nostalgia for history as displayed in the lounge. It was a deliberate meticulous arrangement of pictures.

Chief Oseloka Osuigwe (SAN) built the cozy guest rooms and lounge in memory of his late brother, Lambert Osuigwe. Hence, the name: Lambert Residency.
