Monarch drums support for Gov Soludo

The traditional ruler of Awa in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra, HRH, Igwe Israel Ezue(Dike 11 of Awa) has called on the people of the state to give maximum support to Gov Charles Soludo and his transformational agenda.

Dike 11 of Awa made this call during his inauguration as the National Royal Father for Soludo Solution Movement (SSM).

The inauguration ceremony took place at the palatial palace of Igwe Ezue in Awa.

The monarch noted that Gov Soludo has demonstrated unprecedented commitment to the transformation of Anambra State and as such should be be given maximum cooperation and support.

“We have seen the roads, one can get to Awa from Awka in fifteen minutes because the government has reconstructed the road. He is working on many roads across the state.

“Ndi-Anambra must continue to support Gov Soludo in his determination to build a liveable and prosperous Homeland. All forms of detractive tendencies should be avoided, we all have the collective responsibility of supporting his administration to succeed.” Igwe Ezue insisted.

In his speech at the occasion, the Convener of SSM, Chief Jude Umunnakwe pointed out that the Board of the group decided to honour the royal father because of his unique contributions during the elections.

He pointed out that the highly esteemed Awa monarch distinguished himself with a strong voice during the heat of the governorship election when many supposed eminent persons were still playing the oastrich.

The Convener of SSM was accompanied to the event by the National Woman Leader of the group, Lady Amaka Okafor, Mrs Chinwe Kanayo-Nwizu, Barr Festus. O. Afubero, Hon Emmanuel Ikolo, Sir Chika Orji, Ifeanyi Okoli and Hon Uzodike Celestine, National Director of Operation, Contact and Mobilization for SSM.
