NAUTH mourns the death of SEN Dr IFEANYI UBAH

The Chief Medical Director of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi, Anambra State, has sent out his deep condolences to the Ubah family, Nnewi community, Anambra State, and Nigeria in general over the sudden demise of Sen Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the Senator representing Anambra South senatorial district, at the prime age of 52 years.

In his condolence remark, the Chief Medical Director, who recently honoured Senator Ubah by naming the Medical Outpatient Clinic Complex after him for all his contributions towards the progress and development of the hospital and humanity and in particular for mobilizing the Anambra Progressives to build an edifice at the Permanent site said that the untimely death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has denied the State and the Nation, the services of a true patriot; a gallant advocate of the masses, and a quintessential political leader. In his words ‘there is no doubt that Senator Ubah will be missed for his selflessness, patriotism, tenacity, and disposition to sacrifice personal convenience for the common good of the masses.’

The Chief Medical Director described Senator Ifeanyi Ubah as a colossus and a great Philanthropist whose death will negatively affect many families.

The Chief Medical Director further remarked that, in Sen Ubah’s death, the hospital had lost one of its main benefactors. He therefore, on behalf of the Management and Staff of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi hereby, conveys his deepest condolences to Senator Ubah’s family, colleagues, and the entire Nnewi town and prays that God will grant his soul an eternal respite while granting the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
