Nigeria Breweries hosts a gala dinner to herald the 2021 Igwe Nnewi Ofala festival

The 2021 Igwe Nnewi Ofala eve followed the usual offering of prayers, church services, and open-air concerts to kick off the festival the next day.

The Nigerian Breweries PLC opted to spice up the festival by hosting a special gala night for the event.

The turnout for the event was excellent as people who came home for the festivities had a chance to interact with friends and acquaintances in person.

The Crown Prince, Obianefo Orizu, went from table to table to interact with the guests and ensure everything flowed.

The event was even more remarkable considering several issues impeding the regular visit home. So it was an opportunity to make merry and catch up on the long hiatus.

Guests sat back and enjoyed serenading by the live band with easy-listening songs.

The comedian, whose moniker is “Utaba,” kept the evening warm with laughter.

Some of the personalities at the event were The CMD, Dr. Ugboaja, Rt Hon Prince Chukwudi Orizu, Dr. Festus Arinze, Barr Chinedu Oranuba, Chief Barr Oseloka Osuigwe, Chief Anayo Nwosu, the Etiaba SANs, Emeka and Echezona; Sir Ugochukwu Udemezuo, Chief Innocent Okoli (PG Uruagu), Prince Chinedu Orizu, Chief Bonny Obi, (PG, Otolo), Arch Ebuka Ileka, Barr Ik Ibeto, Tony Atueyi, Sir Bobby Okwuosa, Augustine Ikedoji, Engr Anazodo, Dozie Ikedife, Dr. Somadina Ikedife, Onyedika Ikedife, Dozie Obi, John Paul Chuks Elodimuo, Bebeto Ofodile, Hon Uzo Ulasi, Ejike Onwutalobi, Uzo Obi, Felix Agu-Ofodile, John Lewis Ileka, and Ezeakukwu Emma Nsoedo (PhD), etc.
