……hails Gov Soludo’s achievements

The people of Nnewi in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State has assured Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the August 16, 2025, Anambra South Senatorial district by-election of their 100% votes.
Nwachukwu, whose emergence came through a consensus arrangement among aspirants, supervised by Governor Charles Soludo was a banker, an accountant, an entrepreneur, and a former president general of his community, Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
In accepting the ticket, Nwachukwu pledged to run an inclusive campaign focused on the welfare of the people. He promised to pursue projects that would empower citizens economically, improve infrastructure, and promote sustainable development across Anambra South.
He assured constituents of effective representation in the Senate and called on the electorate to support his bid to accelerate the district’s growth.
During his campaign outing in Nnewi Local Government Area on Friday, August 8, 2025, Onodugo promised to complete all the projects Senator Ifeanyi Ubah initiated before his demise and to start new ones according to the needs of Anambra South Senatorial district constituents.
Governor Charles Soludo during the outing disclosed that he has been solidly behind the candidacy of Chief Nwachukwu and appealed to the people of Nnewi North to rally support for Nwachukwu to deliver him to become a Senator representing the district.
The Governor noted that the electoral victory of Chief Nwachukwu would serve as a test tube for the expected support for his second term election coming up on November 8.
“We have brought out someone who will give quality representation to the people of Anambra South Senatorial district in the person of Emma Nwachukwu.
“We can recall that some Nnewi indigenes like Senators Onyeabor Obi, Ikechukwu Obiorah and late Ifeanyi Ubah were supported by others when they went to Senate to represent Anambra South. In like manner, let us support Emma Nwachukwu. We give to one section this time and another section next time to balance the political equations.
“I have not left out Nnewi in infrastructure development. We constructed some roads in Nnewi including Ezemewi, Igwe Orizu, Okpuno-Eze and St Mary Roads to ensure good road network in the industrial community.
“Many more roads are also going to be constructed very soon as well as other infrastructure development, “Soludo said.
The Executive Chairman of Nnewi North Council Area, Mayor Echezona Anazodo in a short speech assured the Governor that the people of Nnewi would do his biding to ensure that Chief Nwachukwu wins the by-election coming up on August 16.
He said that Chief Nwachukwu’s victory at the polls on August 16 would confirm the readiness of Ndi Nnewi to massively vote for Governor Soludo come November 8 to do his second tenure.
The campaign rally witnessed the presence of APGA Stakeholders, party leaders, industrialists and business moguls in Nnewi.
