NSCDC partners NOA on FG’S safe school project

The Commandant Nigerian Security Civil and Defence Corps, Anambra State, Francis Nnadi has expressed the preparedness of the command to partner with National Orientation Agency (NOA) on the federal government safe school project.

Commandant Nnadi made the commitment during his visit to the Director, National Orientation Agency, (NOA)Awka, Anambra State Directorate, Mr Edozie Ajaegbu in his office.

He said that the essence of his visit was to explore a fertile ground to partner NOA on information dissemination and communicating the project in the communities and schools across the state.

Nnadi pointed out that the safe school project of the federal government is aimed at re-orientating the mindsets of Nigerian school children towards imbibing the core values.

He emphasized the importance of teaching the children on all the nity gritties of the security tips starting from homes as the future leaders of the country, adding that the project is not only about the school children.

Nnadi noted that the project is also aimed at partnering with the greater percentage of Nigerians, especially, NOA in the herculian task of makimg the people to be security conscious at all times,with particular reference to the school children.

The Anambra State Director, NOA, Mr Edozie Ajaegbu while welcoming the NSCDC boss and his team assured that the agency is ready to partner with them noting that the project is in line with the mandates of NOA with particular reference to attitudinal change among Nigerians.
