Oganiru Anambra Exponent Dr Alex Obiogbolu has congratulated Anambra new Governor, Prof Charles Soludo on the occasion of his inauguration as the sixth Executive Governor of the state.
Dr Obiogbolu noted that the new governor’s inaugural speech has given hope to the people of Anambra State who are pondering on what the future holds for them under a new administration.
“It is gratifying to note that you are passionately committed to security of lives and properties of Ndi-Anambra and residents alike. This is heartwarming because growth and development cannot be witnessed in an environment devoid of security.
“Your determination to see urban regeneration as it concerns Okpoko in Ogbaru Local Government Area and parts of Onitsha and Idemili which would signpost a new commitment to fundamental urban regeneration that would propel the realisation of the Megacity status is commendable.
“I must state again that your capability and capacity is not in doubt, I know that with God on your side, Anambra will know the Soludo administration for wonders.
“On behalf of myself and the entire members of all proponents of Oganiru Anambra, I urge all the political class in the state irrespective of their political leanings to give maximum support and cooperation to the new governor. I must state with all sense of responsibility that good governance is a collective responsibility.” Dr Obiogbolu explained.
He also called on Ndi-Anambra in general to continue to be supportive of APGA government.
Dr Obiogbolu said “In the words of our new Governor, ‘Each day, every Onye Anambra must ask himself or /herself: what have I done today to make my home state livable and prosperous?”
