The Executive Chairman of Ogbaru LGA of Anambra State, Chief Hon. Kenneth Akwuobi has charged road construction companies working on some roads in the council area to speed up their efforts.
The Ogbaru Mayor who made the charge during an inspection of the ongoing road construction projects in his council said that the need to speed up efforts to ensure the commencement of the next rainy season.
Chief Hon Akwuobi inspected on going works at Ogbaru LGA headquarter and roads constructions at Iyiowa Odekpe, Asha Street and School Road.
Ogbaru Mayor who applauded the quality of work done so far by the contractors stressed the need to speed up their efforts in line with the time frame of the their respective contracts.
Some of the residents who hailed Hon Akwuobi also lauded the Anambra State governor, Prof Charles Soludo for keeping his promise to Ogbaru people as well as his efforts to ensure that the roads are ready in no distance time.
