Youths from Ogbaru Local Government Area have declared their support for the senatorial aspiration of Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, pledging to work for his emergence as the next Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial Zone.
The declaration was made by lawyer, party chieftain, youth leader and senior aide to a former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Nonso Nwaebili, during an interactive session between stakeholders and Dr. Obiogbolu at the Onitsha South Local Government Secretariat.
Nwaebili stated that Ogbaru strongly believes in power rotation within the zone, noting that it is Onitsha’s turn to produce the next Senator.
According to him, Ogbaru has already had its fair share of representation at the National Assembly and, in the spirit of fairness and equity, the people are ready to support an aspirant from Onitsha.
He described Dr. Obiogbolu as a man of experience and integrity whose aspiration resonates with the people, expressing confidence that he would effectively represent the interests of Anambra North in the Senate.
