Ojukwu mourns late Ubah,calls him brother, friend

Chief Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Jnr has shown his shock as he struggled to come to terms with the reality that Dist. Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah, has indeed passed away.

In an emotion-laden tribute, Ojukwu said tha late Ubah was a good man adding that they worked together as one at many different times and sometimes at odds, yet regardless of the circumstances, he maintained that his brotherly love, commitment, and dedication, were never in doubt, even for a second. “O jiho nwanne egwu egwu”

He said that his energy was extremely infectious.

“He embraced anything he was committed to with open arms” he noted.

Ojukwu narrated what he did during the burial of his late father, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, adding that he was everywhere and did everything possible to facilitate a smooth funeral for Eze Igbo Gburugburu.

“Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah was a dear brother and friend, who always came through at any time, not just for me, but for countless others who crossed his path and beyond to his beloved people of Nnewi, ndi Igbo everywhere and his fellow Nigerians”

“This is a huge loss to Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria and Africa, at large” he said

He prayed that his great soul shall continue to rest in the Lord’s bosom.
