Otolo-Nnewi Youth Forum, Ladies Wing has honoured Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation for her positive contributions and support for the less privileged persons in the society.
The award was presented to the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the group, Chief Nicholas Echezona Nsoedo (Omepuruchukwu Anaedo) during the fifth year anniversary of Otolo-Nnewi Youth Forum, Ladies Wing which held on 2nd December, 2025.
The event which held at palace of the Traditional Ruler of Nnewi, Igwe Dr KON Orizu saw many prominent personalities from far and near featured in the program.
The award according to the organizers of the program was bestowed on Omepuruchukwu Anaedo and his Charity Foundation for their immeasurable contributions to humanity.
Otolo-Nnewi Youth Forum, Ladies Wing observed with relish that Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation has offered helping hand to many needy persons in the society.
The Organizer, Otolo-Nnewi Youth Forum, Ladies Wing, Miss Ogonna Uzoewulu in her comment stated that Chief Nsoedo’s humanitarian services is visible.
She pointed out that many less privileged persons have benefited from the foundation while some others have gotten their businesses revitalized through the prompt intervention of Omepuruchukwu Anaedo.
Miss Uzoewulu urged the affluent persons in Nnewi, including the residents to borrow a leaf from Omepuruchukwu Anaedo, whose good nature is common knowledge.
“Omepuruchukwu Anaedo has been empowering youths, widows, and also picking hospital bills for less privileged persons in the society, if other people who are endowed join in his crusade of alleviating sufferings of people, crime will reduce tremendously.” Miss Uzoewulu asserted.
Hon. Ogochukwu Okeke, the Chairperson, Anniversary Committee said that the award bestowed on Omepuruchukwu Anedo is well deserved, noting that his humanitarian and Charitable works are noticeable and worthy of emulation.
“Omepuruchukwu Anaedo has been putting smiles on faces of people, off setting hospital bills for the Indigent patients, giving to the wea tok and elderly, widows and widowers and the less privileges have become his trademark, in the society, I urge him to continue and I am sure that God will also continue to increase and bless him,” Hon Okeke stressed.
The CEO of Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation, Chief Nicholas Echezona Nsoedo while speaking with journalists at the occasion tasked the affluent persons in the society to help ease the suffering of teeming masses in whichever way they can.
Chief Nicholas Nsoedo at the occasion made giant donation of two hundred and sixty thousand Naira (N260,000.000) to Miss Chinelo Enemchukwu, a member of Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation who was diagnosed with kidney issues.
A gesture that attracted big ovation from the members, officials and guests of Otolo-Nnewi Youth Forum Ladies Wing.
Miss Chinelo Enemchukwu, a member of Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation is also the Financial Secretary of Otolo Youth Forum (Ladies Wing).
Miss Chinelo who could not contain her joy said that she was short of words even as she prayed that the Almighty God will grant Chief Nicholas Echezona Nsoedo a long life and prosperity with good health.
“Before any need will arise, the good Lord will make a way already available and all the members of Omepuruchukwu charity foundation.” She declared.
Recall that Omepuruchukwu Anaedo has led his group on prison visitation many times in the short years of existence of his foundation, giving hope to the inmates that their condition and situation is not the end of the world.
Mr Nsoedo does not only go on prison visitations to preach to the inmates, he always gifted them with mouth watering materials including cash which are deposited officially with the officials of Correctional Centers,” he noted.
Omepuruchukwu Anaedo is not only interested in the poor and the less privileged, he is committed to ensuring that couples are living in harmony, it is an axiom that most of the frictions observable in many homes are usually caused by economic factor, but he normally step in and offered his giant widows’ might which is always enough to give the troubled home a new beginning.
Many people are into humanitarian services because of hidden aspiration to contest for political offices, but Omepuruchukwu Anaedo’s empowerment scheme actually started long time ago when he was assisting people in the far away South Africa, where he was for sometime.
He was a father figure for many Nigerians in South Africa as he used his hard earned resources to stabilize the troubled persons including Nigerians and other nationals.
Since his return home, he has not shied away from the ‘ministry’ and vision to all intents and purposes is committed to him by the divinity.
Chief Nsoedo has been doing all that and so much more before the birth of Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation.
The Foundation has helped resuscitate many ailing businesses, take care of many elderly people in the society irrespective of Creed tribe and tongue.
His egbu -Umuenem Otolo-Nnewi family compound in Anambra State is always a place of succor to the weary because of the assurance that once a needy sets eyes on Chief Nsoedo, the case is settled.
Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation’s aim is to bring like minds together in a platform that will act as a vehicle in promoting, projecting and providing help and assistance in our societies especially for less privileged.
The platform is apolitical, nonpartisan or governmental organization. It’s purely set up for charitable purposes.
Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation will always extend it’s hands of friendship and comradeship to members of the society irrespective of beliefs, values, norms, race, tribe, religion back ground.
Mr Nicholas Echezona Nsoedo has a guiding philosophy that “Life is good when I am happy, but much more better when others are happy because of me, humanity is our religion.”
