The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation, Mr Nicholas Echezona Nsoedo(Omepuruchukwu Anaedo) celebrated his birthday in style.
The philanthropist of repute used the occasion of his birthday to visit Mr Cyprain Chukwu who helped him way back in 1988 when he was just fifteen years old.
Mr Nsoedo had contact with his benefactor thirty six years ago when he was a student.
Omepuruchukwu Anaedo had engaged the services of Mr Chukwu who was a commercial motorcyclist unfortunately when he got home, he realized that the Okada fare was not complete.
“After I realized that the fare I was supposed to pay the Okada man was not complete, I knew all hell would break loose, but Mr Cyprain Chukwu did not tow that line, he just warned me that I should always tell the bikeman of my financial situation before going on a ride,” Omepuruchukwu Anaedo recalled.
As minor as the chance encounter between the CEO of Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation and Mr Cyprain Chukwu was, the philanthropist of note kept the incident in mind.
Mr Nsoedo actually didn’t know that the Okada man he met thirty six years is still in business of commercial motorcycle until they recently met again.
Omepuruchukwu Anaedo who himself has positively impacted many people he came in contact with said that he was so joyous that Mr Cyprain is still alive and healthy.
A loving and compassionate Mr Nsoedo instantly remembered their chance encounter thirty six years ago and decided that he would celebrate his 2024 birthday with the bikeman.
For being nice to a student thirty six years ago, Mr Cyprian Chukwu, got 50kg bag of rice, cartons of noddles, vegetable oil and other mouth watering items as well as cash from Omepuruchukwu Anaedo.
Mr Cyprian Chukwu who hails from Umunike Izu in Ohozara LGA of Ebonyi State has been a resident in Nnewi for over 38years said that he was overwhelmed with happiness and gladness with Mr Nsoedo’s uncommon gesture of philantropism.
The old motorcyclist said as a matter of fact that nobody has ever showed him such level of love all his life.
He prayed that God’s love, favour, increase, multiplication, prosperity will be never depart from the life of Mr Nicholas Nsoedo who chose to celebrate his birthday with a common Okadaman like him.
“All the gifts the CEO of Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation showered on me are well appreciated, I can only pray that the Almighty God will replenish his resources, I can not thank him enough.
“Yes, I can not thank him enough because he gave a sense of belonging and reason to continue to be myself in spite of what is happening in the society these days.
“Imagine, the bigman coming to me with his friends and associates to celebrate his birthday with me, this occasion will remain ever green in my memory,” Joyous Mr Chukwu declared.
Omepuruchukwu Anaedo has led his group on prison visitation many times in the short years of existence of his foundation, giving hope to the inmates that their condition and situation is not the end of the world.
Mr Nsoedo does not only go on prison visitations to preach to the inmates, he always gifted them with mouth watering materials including cash which are deposited officially with the officials of Correctional Centers.
Omepuruchukwu Anaedo is not only interested in the poor and the less privileged, he is committed to ensuring that couples are living in harmony, it is an axiom that most of the frictions observable in many homes are usually caused by economic factor, but he normally step in and offered his his giant widows’ might which is always enough to give the troubled home a new beginning.
Many people are into humanitarian services because of hidden aspiration to contest for political offices, but Omepuruchukwu Anaedo’s empowerment scheme actually started long time ago when he was assisting people in the far away South Africa, where he was for sometime.
He was a father figure for many Nigerians in South Africa as he used his hard earned resources to stabilize the troubled persons including Nigerians and other nationales.
Since his return home, he has not shied away from the ‘ministry’ and vision to all intents and purposes is committed to him by the divinity.
Chief Nsoedo has been doing all that and so much more before the birth of Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation.
The Foundation has helped resuscitate many ailing businesses, take care of many elderly people in the society irrespective of Creed tribe and tongue.
His Umuenem Otolo-Nnewi family compound in Anambra State is always a place of succor to the weary because of the assurance that once a needy sets eyes on Chief Nsoedo, the case is settled.
Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation’s aim is to bring like minds together in a platform that will act as a vehicle in promoting, projecting and providing help and assistance in our societies especially for less privileged.
The platform is apolitical, nonpartisan or governmental organization. It’s purely set up for charitable purposes.
