Over 1000 widows,vulnerable children receive free medical treatment, empowerment at OUIWF Inauguration/August Meeting

Ogbako Umunwaanyi Igbo World Wide has on Saturday, 24th of August, 2024 given free medical treatment to widows and vulnerable children in the society,empowered widows with materials and cash to add to their businesses.

The Forum which was founded by Eziada Ifeoma Caroline Okpara Nwadike has helped a lot of Igbo women across the country to build their homes.

The occasion had in attendance Obi of Nnewichi, Obi George Onyekaba Obidiugwu,Coordinators across Nigeria.

It must be noted that twenty- two sons and daughters of Igboland were honored with special titles,among them were;
Chief Valentine Ozigbo,Governorship Aspirant under Labour Party, Chief Dr Chekwas Okorie ,founder of All Progressive Grand Alliance,Eziada Juliet Okoye,Ike Emedom and others.

Obi of Nnewichi ,Obidiegwu speaking during the occasion commended the founder, Eziada Nwadike for her commitment and love towards putting smiles on the faces of vulnerable children, widows in the society.

He further thanked her for bringing this organisation down to Nnewi.He said that the Ogbako Umunwaanyi Igbo world Wide has come to stay.

The President of OUIWF ,Eziada Nwadike in her address, welcomed everyone that honoured their invitation.

She revealed that what propelled her to form Ogbako Umunwaanyi Igbo World Wide was her love for the culture and values of Igboland.

Eziada Nwadike said her desire was to raise women rooted in culture and values of their forefathers in dressing, character and in their interactions with people.

She said OUIWF has succeeded in building women “who are passionate about their culture and values,who uses their resources for their services to humanity”

Eziada Nwadike disclosed that this year’s August Meeting was exceptional in the sense that they used the opportunity to raise fund for vulnerable children taken into slavery.

“As a fighter, I am not comfortable seeing children taking into slavery.
My foundation in United State of America build houses for the vulnerable children ,that’s why I decided to form this group of women with extraordinary qualities across the country to stand and fight for their families,train their children accordingly to stand test of time” she said

She further disclosed that OUIWF was for good of the society,to support and provide care to widows, less privileged,disabled in the society.

Eziada added that they believed that “it shall be well with Igbos if they work together to promote culture and values of Igboland”

Chief Valentine Ozigbo who was honored with award of Grand Patron of Umunwaanyi Igbo world Wide and Okenwa Alaigbo Gburugburu expressed his immense gratitude for the honor.

He commended women for their enormous roles in the home and society at large.

“Their love and commitment are immeasurable.It is for the love I have for women that I’m here today”

“With joyful heart, I receive the honor of chairman of the occasion and the awards.On behalf of the people of Anambra State, I receive the awards and when I assume office as the Governor, I will take the awards back to My people.he said

Ozigbo said Anambra State would be better again, roads would be constructed,youths would be empowered in due time.

The Global PRO ,Eziada Chidinma Anabor said that OUIWF was formed to empower women and to alleviate the pains of vulnerable children out there.

She disclosed that widows across the country received materials and cash to add to their businesses.

She said the audience also received free medical treatment and were referred to specialist for further medical attention all were funded by OUIWF.

Eziada Chidinma advised women to be steadfast and strong enough to train their children to stand firm against widespread of moral decadence in the society.
