There was disarray in several famous spots in Nnewi when unknown men from no known address showed up in those spots, such as Izuchukwu junction, where the tricycle operators (Keke) used as a taxi depot.
The men swooped in and gave several of them lashes that led to their dispersal, with many of the operators abandoning the tricycles.
Up at Ekwulobia, the Aguata Local Govt area headquarter was set on fire by unknown men. The inferno attracted the people who panicked and ran away from the area, while some brave ones tried to fight the fire.
Most of the people who gathered their nerves from the sudden attack informed the Vision Newspapers that the unknown men warned that they did not want to see anyone outside from 6.30 pm till 6 pm on Friday, April 8, 2022.
