By Ifeoma Ejiofor

The Anambra State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has felicitated with Ndi-Anambra on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the creation of the state.

The PDP’s felicitation was contained in a press release signed by the Publicity Secretary of the party in the state, Mr Nnamdi Nwangwu.

Nwangwu noted that Anambra people have every reason to celebrate as Anambra State has demonstrated over time to be the Light of the Nation indeed.

The Peoples Democratic Party saluted the individuals and organizations that have contributed significantly to the growth and development of Anambra State since inception.

He, however noted that the APGA controlled government in the state has taken shine off the celebration of the thirtieth anniversary due to visionless and rudderless governance which has led to infrastructural decay.

“The APGA controlled government under the leadership of Chief Willie Obiano has taken the state backward in every ramifications. Almost all the roads in Anambra under the APGA watch have become deathtraps.

“The government of APGA has nothing to show for all the years it has occupied the Awka seat of government.” He pointed out.

Nwangwu noted that PDP and her candidate in the November 6 Anambra State governorship election, Mr Valentine Ozigbo will make Ndi Anambra smile again.

“We realise the enormity of work to be done after taken over from the clueless APGA controlled government. We are happy that PDP has a very good man, Mr Valentine Ozigbo as our candidate in the guber election who is passionately committed to giving the state a five star governance.” Nwangwu stressed.

The PDP image maker applauded the good people of the state for their continued support for PDP which according to him would translate to landslide victory for Mr Valentine Ozigbo on November 6.
