Combined team of Police, Military and AVG operatives have busted a criminal den at Umuduru, Ihiala and rescued a kidnap victim unhurt.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Tochukwu Ikenga(SP) revealed this on Tuesday in a press statement.
Ikenga said that the feat followed an arrest of a suspect few weeks ago and his confession of being a member of a criminal/notorious kidnap gang terrorising the state, especially Ihiala and environs.
The PPRO said that the rescued victim has been debriefed and released to the family, while operations are still ongoing.
Recall that Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) Anambra State branch had on Monday threatened to embark on indefinite strike if their abducted member is not released two days after their Communique.
