The Commissioner for Local Government, Community, and Chieftaincy matters, Tonycollins Nwabunwanne, has denied the story making round in the social media that Anambra state government removed Obi of Onitsha from chairmanship of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council (ASTRC).
The said removal of Igwe Achebe allegedly was as a result of the open letter the Obi of Onitsha wrote the Governor over suspension of Igwe Nneni. The Commissioner was vehement that any such thing happened, rather it was a concoction of lies.
Tonycollins Nwabunwanne, has described as fake news and lie from the pit of hell, the allegation that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has removed the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe as the Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council (ASTRC) (247UREPORTS).
The publication was an effort to create confusion in the state, the Commissioner, concluded.
