Rise above apathy, unite as powerful democratic force, ADC guber candidate tells youths

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in the November 8, Anambra State guber polls, Mr John Chuma Nwosu has appealed to youths to rise above political apathy.

The guber candidate made this appeal in his presentation at the Maiden International Conference in Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) Awka.

Mr. Nwosu made a passionate appeal to Nigerian youths, urging them to rise above apathy and division, and instead unite as a powerful democratic force.

He emphasized the importance of leveraging their numerical strength to influence the political landscape and install credible, visionary, and people-centered leaders who are committed to true transformational change.

The landmark event, brought together leaders of thought, policymakers, legal luminaries, scholars, and youth influencers across the country, provided a fertile ground for critical dialogue on leadership, governance, and national development.

The conference featured several eminent personalities, including the former Secretary to Anambra State Government (SSG) Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze; former National Publicity of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Barr. Olisa Metuh, Justice Prof. Peter Umeadi, and Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Carol Chinyelugo Umeoba, who played host at the groundbreaking event.

Leading voices from academia, politics, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and student leadership platforms made the occasion a powerful convergence of intellect, purpose, and hope for a better Anambra State in particular and Nigeria in general.
