A seasoned and widely traveled business mongul from Azia in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State, Mr Paul Orajiaka has thrown his hat into the ring for rerun of Anambra South senatorial zone election.
A visionary, competent and credible business man who has impacted a lot of people said that he is in the senatorial race for greater good of Ndi-Anambra South senatorial zone.
The former governorship aspirant with multiple educational qualifications said that he intends to pursue vigorously at the red chamber of the National Assembly issues and policies that would enhance Security, Health, Electricity, Employment, Education, Road(SHEER) in his constituency.
Mr Paul Orajiaka who is pursuing his senatorial ambition on the platform of Labour Party (LP) is of the opinion that policies from government, especially the National Assembly can make big impact on the lives of Nigerians.
The Senatorial aspirant whose companies has been recognized by Forbes and other international media said he is in the race for bigger reach to his people as he has always been contributing to the growth and development of his geopolitical zone, Anambra State and indeed Nigerians he has contact with, with his personal resources.
The Azia born sweet merchant, young, vibrant and visionary when asked if he was ready to step into the big shoe left behind by Sen Ifeanyi Ubah said that he would not want to look at any shoe as he is focused and serious minded individual who wants to created impact on his constituents.
Mr Orajiaka, LP Senate hopeful said that he would use his election into the red chamber of the National Assembly to address the insecurity situation in his constituency if given the mandate by his people.
“We cannot be doing things the same way all the time and expect different results, with my presence in the Senate, we will use kinetic and non kinetic approach to solve the problem of insecurity in Anambra South senatorial district,” he said.
He said emphatically that his decision to aspire for the senate seat is driven by his desire to use the platform to make laws that would positively impact his constituents and boost security situation in his constituency.
“I assure my constituents that my entrance into the Senate chamber would increase the number of the good persons in the red chamber of the National Assembly and I will also not get carried away by the glamour of office, I am determined to make a difference.
“I have done that in my private businesses and I will also use the seal of the Senate for greater good of my constituents in all ramifications,” he asserted.
Mr Orajiaka, the Labour Party senatorial hopeful when asked if he has gotten the blessing of the National leader of LP, Mr Peter Obi who was the presidential candidate for the party in last general elections said that the former Anambra State Governor has many children.
He however said with relish that Mr Peter Obi is a person who doesn’t believe in imposition of candidates on the electorates and has always been telling contestants in LP to go all out and convince the voters.
“I am optimistic of fair and free level playing ground from our party, that is one major characteristic that distinguises LP from other political parties,” he concluded.
