Thanos Charity Foundation powered Anambra marathon race holds on Saturday

Thanos Charity Foundation has concluded arrangements for the Anambra marathon race billed to hold on Saturday, March 16th.
The President of Thanos Charity Foundation, Prince Ugochukwu Ifeanyi (Aguyi Anaedo) flanked by the Media Director, Hon Chinelo Mbonu, Secretary Amaka Epunamobi and Partner, Hon Obinna Momah revealed this in Awka yesterday during an interaction with journalists.
He said that the 42km marathon race will take off from Ogbunike Toll gate, Onitsha and climaxed at Igwe’s palace Awka.
Aguyi Anaedo said that the primary aim of the marathon race is to key into the efforts of Gov Charles Soludo to transform Anambra State in the area of tourism and sports.
He said that the marathon is a kind of homecoming for Thanos Charity Foundation as they have been carrying out similar programs in Abuja, Lagos and other places.
The President of Thanos Charity Foundation said that the marathon race and other programs carefully packaged by the group will unveil budding talents who will make Anambra State proud.
“All the necessary security and medical arrangements have been put in place to ensure an hitch free outing,” he said.
Prince Ugochukwu however said that the race which is in partnership with Anambra State Ministry of Commerce, Dozzy Group, Anglican Diocese of Nnewi and others is opened to all Nigerians.
He said a whopping one million Naira would be won by the winner, the first runners up will go home with half a million Naira while the third place person will go home with three hundred thousand Naira.
Prince Ugochukwu singled out the Anambra State Commisioner for Industry, Mr Christian Udechukwu, , the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) Nnewi, Prof Joe Ugboaja, Nigerian Police Force (NPF) and Federal Road Safety Commission(FRSC), Anambra State command for their support.
