The CEO of Innoson Group, makers of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing IVM chaired the book presentation of a distinguish scholar, Dr Louie Marie Adaeze Ifem, a member of The Global Political Economy Research Group, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Dr Ifem’s latest work is titled: UNITED STATES -NIGERIA BI-NATIONAL COMMISSION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN NIGERIA: THE YOUTH’S PERSPECTIVE
Earlier on, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma (CON) and his entourage, including the Chief luncher, Hon Dr Emmanuel Nsoedo, paid a courtesy call to the Vice-chancellor and the principal staff of the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
The Vice-chancellor who was in Abuja for an unscheduled meeting was represented by the Deputy Vice-chancellor Administration, Professor Romanus C. Ezeokonkwo.
Professor Ezeokonkwo was full of praises for Chief Dr Chukwuma who has made Nigeria proud through his business acumen and a pioneer in vehicle manufacturing in Nigeria. He also thanked him for making out time to be a part of the book unveiling.
Innoson thanked the VC and the entire establishment for the reception accorded him and his entourage. He also reminded the VC that the collaboration between his vehicle manufacturing outfit and the school, which the COVID pandemic truncated will be reactivated.
Dr Ifem spoke on what the book was about, emphasizing the critical impact on the youths. The author questioned why the relationship between Nigeria and various countries in terms of support to the country have failed to yield commensurate benefits to Nigeria. She challenges the youth not to take a back seat to the present socioeconomic status of Nigeria. The youth must ask question to effect changes.
Dr Ifem was full of praises and grateful to the Head of Global Political Economy Research Group, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Professor C. C Ezeibe. She thanked him also for the book review.
Dr Nsoedo launched the book with the sum of N1,000.000, and CEO Obiego Ventures also launched the book with the sum of N1,000,000. Chief Dr Chukwuma launched the book with an undisclosed sum of money.
Meanwhile, Dr Nsoedo thanked the author for enriching humanity with the quality book which he urges the author to ensure that the book receives a wide circulation for the benefit of scholars and all.
She was full of praises for the Chairman of the occasion, Chief innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma CON for the support he has shown to her. She thanked Chief Launcher, Dr Emmanuel Nsoedo, for being there.
Dr Ifem has cut across boundaries in the pursuit of academic laureate, dedicating her research interest on law, international relations, and political economy.
The book launch attracted a well attended audience.
