The ever-generous Engr Onwuagha is the quintessential, affable people’s man who has had a good run on life.

Akunnaya generally affected life in a live-and-let-live attitude well-grounded in a disciplined disposition. You will always know where Engr Onwuagha is coming from and which direction he is heading.

He was a committed husband to Chief Mrs. Elizabeth Onwuagha (Adaugo Nnewi). They were inseparable for decades, yet, death is the final arbiter that puts a permanent wedge between the two of you.

Akunnaya transferred his good-natured mannerism to all the children whom he raised with the fear of God. Besides the indomitable Adaugo, Akunnaya’s children were the apple of his eyes.

Engr Onwuagha loved Ndiakwu and his kindred so much. The community will surely miss his wise counsel, especially his accommodating and peace-loving ways.

Nnewi and Enugu communities will miss him a lot where his influence and infectious wits will be missed. They will miss his philanthropic and giving nature a lot.

Akunnaya and the wife gave many people opportunities through scholarships. Many of the beneficiaries could be found across all professions.

Indeed, anyone who had met Akunnaya even for a moment will always have an indelible memory of him to reminisce on.
