Recall that Chief Jude Ezenwafor was shot by unknown gunmen few days ago in Abuja. However, he miraculously survived the attack, even though he suffered some injuries. He is responding to treatment in an undisclosed hospital in Abuja.
Vision Newspapers was able to reach him on the phone through a special arrangement.
Chief Ezenwafor said that he was extremely lucky to be alive, but he is not going to be cowed. “I am determined to continue my campaign as soon as I get better. Our people need a better support to let their potential excel, I will see to it when I win the upcoming election, God willing.”
On his security going forward: Chief Ezenwafor said “the National Chairman of PDP, Damagun, FCT Minister Nyeson Wike have all intervened to surround him with robust police and DSS presence to ensure his safety.”
He said “the people who attacked came with a G Guard Mercedes, but he is happy that the police had made some arrests.”
Chief Ezenwafor urged the good people of Anambra not to despair because he is very much alive. He thanked them for their prayers as he recuperates.
