Isn’t all this nonsense just because if the word “ERI” and no more. That ERI is mentioned in the Bible. No resort to already existing research and data on the origins of Nd’igbo, only ERI and Bible. The Nnewi women seek only sensation, not knowledge.
They’ve not cared to visit their neighbouring lgboukwu town, to view the oldest known artifacts of lgbo civilization, before they set out on their frolic to Aguleri.
If they’re seriously concerned about Nd’igbo cultural values and tradition then they should look at and travel to the East not to West. To lgboukwu and to Arochukwu, the home of “Chukwu” of Nd’igbo. That’s what.
