The Transition Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government Council, Hon. Chris Obiorah, has assured Corp members posted to Nnewi North of their safety as they embark on their one-year mandatory service because the government of Soludo has prioritized security in the the whole 21 local government areas of the state.
He said this while addressing the 79 corps members of Batch B Stream 1 2023 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Nnewi North Local Government Council.
While enjoining them to be of good conduct, Hon. Obiorah stressed that Governor Charles Soludo-led administration had outlined a series of programmes like “one youth, two skills” that would make them innovative and productive.
The Council Chairman prayed for an eventful stay in this national exercise and told them to feel free to relate with him.
In the same vein, the H.O.D. of Education, Nnewi North, Mrs. Chidokwe, J.C. admonished the Corp members to uphold the tenet of hard work by being committed and steadfast in their service.
On the part of H.L.G.A. of Nnewi North, Engr. Val Obiorah appealed for cooperation and mutual co-existence between the corp members and the Council.
Expressing her appreciation on behalf of the NYSC and Corps members, the Local Government Inspector of NYSC (L.G..I) of Nnewi North, Mrs. Iyizoba Chinwe thanked Hon. Chris Obiorah for his fervent support.
