2023 Presidency: Youth group visits 1st Republic Minister

The youth group of Southern and Middle Belt Youth Coalition on Saturday paid a consultative visit to the first republic Minister of Aviation, Chief Mbazulike Amechi.

The leader of the group, Prince Okenwa Okpala in his introductory remarks said that they were in Ukpor to seek advice from the foremost nationalist on how the youth can take over the governance of the nation.

He pointed out that they also want to learn from Chief Amechi how to achieve fairness and equity in the governance of Nigeria.

Prince Okpala noted that the stakeholders of different political parties against all expectations refused to zone their presidential tickets to the South.

He however stressed that the presidential candidate of Labour Party(LP) Mr Peter Obi is enjoying an unprecedented support from all Nigerians especially the youths.

He also said as a matter of fact that marginalization of certain geopolitical zone has led to the collapse of almost everything Nigeria and Nigerians were proud of.

In his remarks, Chief Amechi recalled how he and his colleagues fought the colonial master to a standstill based on justice and equity for all Nigerians.

He said that what is paramount to Nigerians at the moment is an unselfish leadership.

Chief Amechi described as unhealthy the idea of recycling old and tired politicians in leadership.

The first republic Minister of Aviation advised the youths to be zealous and determined to take over from the old generation.
