The leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Nnewi North has officially commissioned Umudim Ward ll office at Akwu-Akamili, Umudim, Nnewi.
The official commissioning on Thursday, May 14 was well attended by the leadership of the party across the zone, party stakeholders and party faithful.
Addressing journalists shortly after the official commissioning, NDC aspirant for House of Representatives, Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, Comrd. Caleb Okeke-Enyobi said he joined the race under the platform of NDC because of the brand of politics Peter Obi does and call for service the party motto speaks , which he said he has been a service oriented person, adding that currently he is the Director of Nnewi Museum.
“I have always known that at some point in my life, I will run for an elective office, but how soon it’s happening because of the mentorship Peter Obi has provided for many young people.
“We have been mentored by his ways, transpiracy, accountability and the kind of developmental politics he does.
“This time around we want to make things a little more different, though we don’t have all the answers to the problems our country face but I don’t think either that any solution has been applied currently to the current situation of our country.
“It’s time for those who are younger to bring in fresher ideas that will bring solutions to most of the problems we face in our country” he maintained.
Nkan’uzu called on Nigerians to join the NDC movement, a solution of last resort.
