Nnewi deserves a solid and quality representation at the State House of Assembly, Awka. The importance attached to the office has been severally articulated by no less a personality than Arch Paul Ileka (PhD), in his journey to earn the trust of Nnewi constituency.
What happened on 23rd April 2026 in Nnewi North was not just a declaration, it was history in motion.
The most resounding, most laudable, and most attended political declaration in the annals of Nnewi North State Assembly politics.
It was even more significant that the House of Assembly seat was zoned to Otolo; Otolo zoned it to Umuenem; and Umuenem, zoned it to Egbu-Umuenem.
So the day of Ileka’s declaration: the earth moved. The people also spoke.
There was an unprecedented turnout of vibrant youths, respected stakeholders, determined women, party faithful, and community leaders flooded the venue not for a campaign flag-off, but for a mere declaration.

This massive, organic convergence is a clear testament to capacity, direction, and destiny.
Nnewi North has decided and is finally building on SOLID BASE governance.
The masses have spoken with one voice.
The stakeholders have endorsed without reservation.
The party structure is united and satisfied.

The message is clear: The time for transformation is now, Let’s go and build on SOLID BASE (Maka na oke anaghị eri ife onye mmụ anya)
In response to the thunderous applause and overwhelming recommendations, Hon. Ebuka Ileka PhD (Solid Base) gave his solemn assurance:
“Ndi Nnewi, I hear you. I see you. I am one of you. I will not fail you. I will deliver. I will bring good governance, accountable representation, and visible development to our constituency”
This is more than politics. This is a movement.
This is more than ambition. This is a mandate.
This is more than a candidate. This is SOLID BASE.
NNEWI NORTH, THE FUTURE IS HERE. AND IT STANDS ON SOLID BASE.
