The governorship candidate of APC in the last Anambra State Governorship election, Dr Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma) has dissociated himself from an alleged congratulatory message to Sen Emma Anosike over acclaimed appointment.
The disclaimer was contained in a statement signed by Rt. Hon. Dr. Timothy Ifedioranma Esq.,
Special Adviser on Strategic Matters to Dr. Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu MFR.
The statement reads, “The attention of His Excellency, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma), has been drawn to a viral social media publication falsely attributing to him a congratulatory message concerning an alleged appointment of Senator Emma Anosike.
“Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu categorically states that the publication did not emanate from him and was never authorised by him. He is neither aware of the purported appointment nor did he issue any congratulatory message, publicly or privately, concerning it.
“It is equally important to state that Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu and Senator Emma Anosike are not political enemies; they are friends. This disclaimer is intended to dispel the false impression created by this act of impersonation.
“The said publication is therefore false and misleading, and appears to be the handiwork of individuals seeking to create confusion and score cheap political points. Members of the public are urged to disregard it completely.
“Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 8, 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election and a foremost leader of the party in Anambra State, remains committed to the peace, unity, stability and progress of the party and will continue to contribute meaningfully to its growth.”
