Amotekun arrest 2 suspects with 18 stolen goats in Osun


The Western Security Network Agency, “Amotekun” Osun Command, on Tuesday disclosed that it has arrested two persons, Oladipupo Segun (40), and Wale Samuel (40) and recovered 18 goats allegedly stolen from them.

A statement made available to our correspondent by the media director of Amotekun corps, Yusuf Idowu, alleged that the suspects have been stealing goats and taking them to Lagos to sell.

He explained that the suspects were arrested when they were going to Lagos after the successful stealing of the goats.

According to him, the suspects confessed to the crime, saying they have stolen 56 goats in the last months and sold them to a woman who always gives them N10,000 after every trip.

“It was also gathered that one Mrs Oladipupo “Mame E” who lives in the Mile 12 area of Lagos State bought an MPV Mazda car for the suspects purposely for the job,” Amotekun stated

.He said the suspects would be handed over to the security agents for further investigation.
