Anambra based prophet calls for arrest of APC presidential aspirants

By Ifeoma Ejiofor

The Spiritual Head of Soul Revival Outreach, Nnewi, Anambra State, Bro Iyke Uzukwu, has called for the arrest of presidential aspirants who bought the one hundred million Naira expression of interest and nomination forms.

The fiery prophet who was speaking during a church service on Sunday said that the anti graft agencies should not only investigate the presidential aspirants but apprehend them immediately.

He said that happenings in the country since President Muhammadu Buhari came on board since 2015 have shown that he is not in charge.

Bro Uzukwu expressed worry that with the way the old people who couldn’t fix the country are being recycled in the governance of Nigeria, things will continue to move from bad to worse.

“Nasarrawa State governor contested for chairmanship of a party and won, is he the only qualified person out of the over two hundred million Nigerians? Retirement age for civil servants is sixty years but politicians can come out from their grave to contest and win elections, this is a sign of a failed system.

“Barr Olisa Metuh’s case is still on because he has refused to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) cabals, if he had, his sins would have been forgiven. Millions of dollars fraud allegations were hanging on Gen. Burutai, when he and his co-travelers were invited by the National Assembly, they didn’t respond, it was the same legislators that shamefully confirmed their ambassodorial nominations without screening.

“The economy has been bastardized under the watch of APC controlled government, if any prophet had said that things will get so bad for Nigeria ten years ago, people will call such prophet names, today, the reality is that any ruler who can return the nation’s economy to what it was in 2015 would be a great hero.

“The president said that 90% of the nation’s crude oil is being stolen, I challenge him to name and shame the perpetrators but if he cannot, he should resign. The level of killings across the country under different toga is unprecedented. This is not acceptable.” The prophet declared.

On the 2023 presidential election, Bro Uzukwu said emphatically that it is the turn of the South East to produce the Nigerian president even as he expressed disappointment in the presidential aspirants from South West and South South who according to him are selfish.

“Mr Peter Obi is there, he is a very good material, he has delivered as a governor, he would be a good president but the operators of the nation are afraid of him because with Peter Obi in the saddle of leadership, status quo must change.

“The APC government especially Mr Lai Mohammed has always been blaming the failure of their government on the former president, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, I am surprised that the APC cabals are trying to bring him back to frustrate the chances of the South East presidency.” He stressed.

On Anambra State, Bro Uzukwu urged the governor, Prof Charles Soludo and leave politicking after elections noting that the governor should as a matter fact guard his utterances and as well leave self determination agitators who are pushed to the trenches because of obvious marginalization alone.

He also said that he forsee a repeat of misunderstanding between Chief Willie Obiano and Mr Peter Obi playing out between Prof Soludo and his predecessor.
