PROMOTING SECURITY ADVOCACY IN ANAMBRA STATE: CP ECHENG EWORO EMPLACES MEASURES TO ENHANCE PUBLIC SAFETY AND PEACE

As part of efforts to curtail security challenges and enhance public safety and peace in the state especially during this period of EMBER MONTH, the Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command, CP Echeng Eworo today, 21st November, 2021 urges Ndi Anambra and residents alike to be guided by the following security measures and tips:

Report promptly any suspicious movement within your environment to the nearest police station or call emergency number 112 or command control room number: 07039194332

Report promptly any missing vehicles to the nearest police state or call the emergency/control room numbers, 112 and 07039194332 respectively

-Parents/guardians are advised to pay closer attention to activities by their children/wards._

Members of the public are urged to desist from engaging in jungle justice and to exercise restraint always. They should endeavor to take any suspect apprehended to the nearest Police Station, as this would afford the Police the opportunity to conduct appropriate investigation and bring them to justice.

Obey the State Government’s directive on ban of tinted vehicles and covered plate number.

Report any Police infringement to the Command by calling the Command control room number: 07039194332 or Public Complaints Bureau on 08039334002

All hotels to promptly submit their guest list daily to the nearest divisional Police headquarters.

All proprietors of private/public hospitals, to admit but promptly report anyone with bullet wounds or any related injuries.

While reaffirming his commitment towards consolidating on the gains in crime prevention and restoration of law and order and improving safety and security of lives in the State, the CP assures that the Police, the Military and other Security Agencies are firm to contain any security situation that may arise and prevent threats to lives and property in the State.
