APGA Congress: Gov Soludo’s aide calls for vigilance

From Ifeoma Ejiofor

Ahead the forthcoming congress of the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA), the Senior Special Assistant(SSA) to the Anambra State Governor on Political Mobilization, Chief Jude Umunnakwe has urged the party faithful to be vigilant.

Chief Umunnakwe who was speaking with journalists in Awka said that the need to be vigilant has become imperative because certain persons who have been working against the party are now angling to take over the leadership of the party.

He said as a matter of fact that all hands must be on the deck to frustrate the plans of enemies of APGA to take over the rein of the party through their cronies in the party.

“I had it on good note that certain individual who is an outgoing member of House of Representatives, who worked against Prof Charles Soludo in the last governorship election is now sponsoring certain blacklegs in our party to take over the leadership of APGA.

“I will not want to mention the names of the persons at this moment but I will not hesitate to blow the whistle if they don’t drop their hidden satanic agenda. The governorship election has long gone and the people of Anambra have given their mandate to Prof Soludo who is delivering on his electioneering campaign promises to the good people of the state, but these elements are still living in the past.” He explained.

The SSA to the Anambra State governor on Political Mobilization appealed to the leadership of APGA in the state to use their tongue to count their teeth to prevent had I known situation.

“Chief Nobert Obi the outgoing chairman and his executive council have done their bit for the party, it is only wise that the next set of people who will be saddled with responsibility of piloting the affairs of APGA should be credible and honest persons who will take the party to the next level.” Chief Umunnakwe asserted.
