The leading aspirant for the Anambra State House of Assembly, Arch Paul Ileka has formally been inducted into the academic exclusive club of doctorate degree holders.
The Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu University held its 16th convocation at Igbariam and the occasion was witnessed by His Excellency Professor Chukwuma Soludo. In addition to several dignitaries and stakeholders, the Minister for State Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, the wife of late Ikemba Nnewi, in whose memory the university was named after.
It was an opportunity for Arch Ileka (PhD) to strive for greatness through hard work and discipline. According to Arch Paul Ileka, it was not easy to cope with the daunting demands of academic rigor, considering his professional needs and other numerous commitments to the community and humanitarian responsibilities.
“I am happy to have concluded this aspect of my life, just know that I am always open to other forms of self improvement,” he said.
On what he hopes to accomplish with his new degree. Arch Ileka explained that “going for such an advanced degree must be used to improve myself and those who come in contact with me. The moment is quite apt considering that I will utilize it when I am elected to represent my good people of Nnewi.”
